20. Playboy president that was assassinated in Dallas because of his controversial views is remembered for inspiring the country to go to the moon and for his handling of many Cold War events.
21. Born in a log cabin in Kentucky and rose up to save America from itself. He is often viewed as the greatest president ever. He did all this despite many political setbacks, challenges, and suffering from depression.
22. While some would argue that John Hanson who was in charge of the Articles of Confederation was the first US President, we actually look to this cherry tree chopper as our original leader despite his original reluctance to be a part of the new government.
23. I once had a roommate who referred to him as the greatest president that Panama ever had (since he gave back the canal to the Panamanians). He was president when the hostages were taken in Iran. Now, he is equally infamous for his talks with Hamas.

28. Like his father, he was a very strong president during wartime, but crashed dramatically in the polls over his other policies as well as when his wartime policies got bogged down in casualties and financial costs.

39. Despite having less popular votes than Grover Cleveland, he was named president.
40. Referred to as “his accidency” due to his appointment to president because of the former president’s death.
